Preface

The chart indicates a ground communication outlet (GCO) frequency. How would you use that?

1.

Thatís for military folks and they donít appreciate prank calls, so you wonít use it.

2.

You transmit on that frequency to reach the FBO to avoid non-operational use of the CTAF.

3.

Itís just like an RCO. Use it to call ATC from the ground (or in the air if youíre too low for 125.3 to work).

4.

Key the mic four times on that frequency to call ATC or six times to call Flight Service.
