Weekly tips, technique and training from IFR.

Preface

Start straight-and-level, eyes closed. The instructor then enters a coordinated roll to 40 degrees. In the roll, tilt your head forward, look to the right and left, then raise your head upright. The instructor times the maneuver so the roll stops as your head is raised. You feel:

1.

Dizzy

2.

A cold sweat

3.

As if you are falling downward in the direction of the roll.

4.

Lunch. Escaping. Violently. In the wrong direction.
