Preface

A parting tip: What one easy thing can you do to minimize spatial disorientation?

1.

Avoid sudden head movement of any type. Instead, only when necessary, move your head slowly and smoothly.

2.

Fly visually and on instruments at the same time, crosschecking your attitude whenever you can with glimpses of the ground.

3.

Reset the horizon bar every fifteen minutes.

4.

Ride roller coasters frequently to build resistance to spatial disorientation.
